The hotels in
Barcelona and surroundings recorded full occupancy during the Mobile World
Congress, between Monday and Thursday, an "all time high".
It will have an
economic impact on the area of 23 million euros, according to estimates of
the Hotel Association of Barcelona.
Reservations made by
the organization reach the 25,000 rooms, which will result in 100,000 overnight
stays at an average price of 230 Euros per night, compared to 80 or 85 euros to
be paid without the conclusion of the lounge.
These reserves are
added the attendees do on your own, and have enabled hang the full hotels and
many apartments in a radius of over 30 kilometers around Barcelona.

provides a record attendance in excess of 70,000 people from 200 countries and
1,500 mobile phone companies to install over 94,000 square meters of

But not only Hotels had this increasement, also restaurants near Barcelona had notice the rise of their income.
